Brief Bio

I am a graduate student doing research on artificial intelligence with Eyal Amir at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Although my degree program is Computer Engineering, for the most part I have left my hardware roots behind and am focusing entirely on logical AI.

I also have an interest in Math and Science education. I have been employed for many years at the Math, Science, and Technology Education Office (MSTE) and served for two years as a Teaching Assistant for the lab portion of ECE 110 - Introduction to Electrical and Computer Engineering, with one year as the Head TA.

For a more complete look at me, you may want to check out my resume, available in Microsoft Word or Rich Text format.

Research Interests

Hobbies

I am an avid fan and shameless promoter of webcomics. I have a critical commentary blog, and several webcomic projects of my own: Birdsworth and MiSTEam.

I am also a recovering chess addict.
